The seminar will focus on the theoretical foundation of Mentalization-Based Therapy and its application to treating patients with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

“Mentalization-Based Therapy is a powerful evidence-based therapeutic approach to treating people suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder,” said Michael Roy, MSW, founder and executive director of Clearview Women’s Center. “Clinicians working with this population will find it extremely valuable in their work with BPD patients.”

The workshop will also feature a panel discussion on how Mentalization-Based Therapy can be effectively used in BPD treatment. The panel will be facilitated by Katherine Niemela, RN, MN, clinical director at Clearview Women’s Center.

The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Clearview Treatment Programs’ newest location in Venice Beach, Calif. Admission to the seminar is $35, which includes breakfast and lunch.
